AstroReadz, LLC ("AstroReadz", "we", "us") operates the Predicts mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what personal data the App collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Predicts is intended for use by residents of the United States. We do not offer the App in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this policy is written to United States law.

1. Who we are
AstroReadz, LLC is the data controller for personal data processed through the App.

2. What we collect

Location note: the App does not use your device's GPS and never requests location permission. Birth location and current location are text values you choose from a place-name search, powered by Google (see Section 4).
2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 What we do not collect
To be explicit, because these are common in other apps:
- We do not collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not show you advertising or track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App never presents an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to ask for.
- We do not collect motion or sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope, or similar).
- We do not collect your precise or background location.
- We do not collect your contacts, calendar, health data, or financial information.
- We do not capture screenshots of your device.
- We do not sell or share your personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Provide the service — calculate your astrological chart, generate compatibility predictions, show you matches, and deliver chat messages.
- Maintain your account — authenticate you, keep you signed in, and let you edit or delete your profile.
- Keep the community safe — screen profile photographs for explicit content, and act on reports and blocks.
- Send notifications you have opted into — new messages, matches, and product updates. You can turn these off in iOS Settings at any time.
- Improve the App — understand which features are used and where people abandon onboarding, using aggregated usage events.
- Diagnose problems — investigate crashes and respond to feedback you send us.
- Meet legal obligations — respond to lawful requests and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Photo screening: profile photographs are checked for explicit content by a model that runs entirely on your device. The image is not uploaded for this check. Only photos that pass the check and that you confirm are uploaded to us.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with the categories of service provider ("processors") set out below, each acting on our instructions and under contract. We can tell you the identity of any of these providers on request — email admin@predicts.guide.

We also share data with other users of the App where you have chosen to make it visible: your name, profile photographs, intro and profession text, gender, and the astrological information derived from your birth details are shown to users you are matched with. Your email address, exact date and time of birth, and precise birth location are never displayed to other users.
We may disclose personal data if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, safety or property of AstroReadz, our users, or the public.
If AstroReadz is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, personal data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Sensitive information
Several United States state privacy laws treat some of what you give us as sensitive personal information. In the App, that means principally your gender preference, because in a matching context it can reveal sexual orientation. Your exact date, time and place of birth are more revealing than ordinary profile data, so we handle them with the same care.
We use sensitive information only to provide the service — matching you with other users and calculating your chart. We do not:
- sell it or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising;
- use it for advertising, ad targeting, or profiling;
- use it to infer characteristics about you beyond matching; or
- disclose it to other users beyond what Section 4 describes.
You can change this information at any time by editing your profile, or remove it entirely by deleting your account.
[OPEN ITEM — several states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas, require opt-in consent before sensitive personal information is processed, and California requires a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" mechanism. Confirm with counsel which apply at your scale, and whether onboarding needs an affirmative consent step. The App currently obtains agreement by continuing past the sign-in screen, which is not affirmative opt-in consent.]
6. How long we keep your data
- Account and profile data: for as long as your account is active.
- Chat messages: for as long as your account is active, subject to our messaging provider's retention configuration.
- Usage events and crash diagnostics: up to [24] months.
- After account deletion: we delete or anonymise your personal data within [30] days, except where we must retain it to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
7. Your rights
Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data — most profile fields are editable directly in the App.
- Delete your account and personal data.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, of targeted advertising, and of profiling. We do not do any of these, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, as described in Section 5.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
- Appeal if we decline your request.
Deleting your account: open the App, go to your Profile, and select Delete account. This removes your profile and personal data as described in Section 6. You may also email us at admin@predicts.guide.
To exercise any other right, email admin@predicts.guide. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that once where the law allows, telling you why. In California you may also use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of their authority.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. If we deny your appeal, you may complain to your state Attorney General.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in relation to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact admin@predicts.guide and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), storage of authentication tokens and the installation identifier in the iOS Keychain, and access controls limiting which of our personnel can reach production data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Where we process data
AstroReadz is based in the United States, and the App is intended for use by residents of the United States. Your personal data is processed and stored on servers in the United States. Some of our service providers operate infrastructure in other countries; where they process data on our behalf outside the United States, they do so under contract with us and remain bound by the commitments in this policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the App before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
